Who we are…

Matt + Kristil + our boys = Team Wilmore.  This is our story … our celebrations and our struggles as we strive to be the light.

Matt … what can I say about the love of my life: my hero.  He’s silly and crazy (athletically) and he loves our boys with his whole, huge heart; both his son by birth and his son by love.  Along with my dad, Matt is the absolute best dad in the world, always leads by example and cherishes every moment with our boys.

Brennen … 18 and graduating high school this year.  He’s been accepted to UTSA and works insane hours at a local restaurant in addition to still being in high school.  Although an adult in age, he always has a kind word and hugs for his momma, has such a gentle and loving heart, and is just phenomenal.

Tristan … the most tender-hearted and generous teenager I can imagine.  He adores his family, still loves his stuffed animals, and takes great joy in helping those who are ill, suffering and/or less fortunate.  There is absolutely nothing I would change about this boy other than how hard he is on himself.  I wish they both could see themselves through our eyes.   Both he and his brother fill our hearts with love, pride and gratitude daily.

Me (Kristil) … I’m still a work in progress at the ancient age of 40.  My calling is to be a mother and wife and I cherish every moment of it.  My biggest joy is taking care of my 3 precious guys.  Other than that, I love to read, dance, do yoga, meditate and help others.
