We had a really wonderful Christmas this year! We had a fun-filled week with Brennen leading up to Christmas, a wonderful dinner/gift-opening-extravaganza with my family on the 23rd, and a perfect Christmas day! The morning started off with Tristan waking us at 12:30 a.m. to let us know that “SANTA WAS HERE!!!!” Then after about 2 hours of trying to help him ignore the gifts, he finally fell asleep (or perhaps comatose from lack of sleep). After he re-woke at 8 and had opened all his gifts (with an adoring audience of Momma, Daddy, Coca, and Pappa), we spent a few hours relaxing before a trip to Matt’s Dad’s house where we spent the evening enjoying a delicious dinner, more gifts, and wonderful time with Matt’s family. It was a really perfect and joyous day!
